This is required as international shipping prevents Li-ion battery operated equipment being shipped with more than 30% charge. Designed for testing Mode 3 AC electric vehicle chargers (EVSEs), the Electric Vehicle Charge-point Adaptor, EVX100, is a compact and portable unit, designed to be fitted directly to the front of the MFT-X1. This removes the need for any intermediate manual adaptors between the MFT and the charge point and transfers control of the charger point to the MFT-X1.When connected to the MFT-X1 the EVX100 automatically activates an EV charger configuration, removing unnecessary test modes from the MFT menu option.
