The sector consists of around 200 people on a Nordic level; we are now looking for a dynamic and driven; Segment Marketing Manager Nordic responsibility – Philips Lighting.

Marketing responsible for segment with large potential
You will get the responsibility for supporting Philips Lighting’s market position in the very important Trade segment (Wholesalers) on the four Nordic markets. You ensure that the segment continuously is processed with relevant marketing messages and that you yourself are visible in direct meetings with clients and partners. You compose a yearly marketing plan, which creates the basis for campaigns and other activities. You will become an active sparring partner for the sales departments in the four Nordic countries and you strive at reaching the commercial goals which are set for the area. You report to the Nordic Segment Leader, and you will get a large contact area within the company both internally and externally. You will be based at our Stockholm office in Kista, but with a strong Nordic focus and some travelling to the other countries. The 2-3 Trade Marketeers /Channel Managers who are based in the countries will report directly to you.
Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland
You are enthusiastic about utilizing the large potential Philips has in the 4 Nordic markets and can see yourself as a central person in this work. You have to be able to act on several markets, which in spite of their geographical closeness contain large cultural and market-related variations. You do not necessarily have industry knowledge, but most likely some years of marketing and sales experience from an internationally oriented company combined with a commercial education. Alternatively you have a technical educational background combined with commercial understanding and experience. In any case you are outgoing, analytical and a committed person who has a high energy level. You thrive in an organization which is marked by winner mentality, but at the same time has respect for differences among its employees.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Deploy and implement the Nordic segment strategy for Trade
• Write, deploy, execute and drive Nordic trade plans (incl. local adaptations where needed), with focus on Wholesale and Installers.
• Deploy, execute and/or develop regional/local replenishment up-grading campaigns/activities
• Advice local sales support with development of Sales/KAM plans and dedicated activities, tools and training.
• Drive trade sales (Lighting) and initiate corrective marketing actions if needed (with sales and marcom).
• Provide input for Product management on portfolio needs, competition and pricing.
• Integrate key product launches in Trade plans and activities.
The ideal profile
• Bachelor/Master degree e.g. in Business Administration, with a major in marketing, alternatively a degree from a technical university
• Minimum five years of commercial experience from a marketing, business development or B2B environment
• Experience from the lighting industry or related branches is preferred but not a demand
• Fluent in English, in written as well as verbally
• Excellent IT skills, e.g. Power Point and Excel, SAP, CRM
• High energy, drive and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills, used to give presentations
• Team player – can built strong relations internally as well as externally
